Number of COBET Learners by Region 2012
Complementary Basic Education in Tanzania (COBET), is an alternative approach for the provision of basic education to out of school children and youth aged 11 - 18 years. The programme is implemented by LGAs together with CSOs and private sector who complement Government efforts by also opening and managing learning centres. The programmes aim at ensuring that all out of school children and youth get education as their basic right.
