Myanmar-Populated Settlements Data
Data collected and organized as input to the geospatial least-cost planning for universal electricity access by 2030 as part of the the project fundedby World Bank for Myanmar National Electrification Plan (NEP).The dataset contains locations and population of village settlements from 2001.The data collection was undertaken by the Sustainable Engineering Lab/Earth Institute from the following sources: MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK AND IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (DRD) GENERAL ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT (GAD) MYANMAR INFORMATION MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE(MIMU)
